Goals of the website

  1. To inform citizens and residents about the types of visits, those permitted to make visits, and how to follow the rules and regulations of the Reformation and Rehabilitation Directorate and its affiliated centres. (Attached is a copy of general instructions for those visiting the inmates of the Directorate of Reformation and Rehabilitation and Detention)
  2. To inform citizens and residents about the timings of visits. (Attached is a copy of the visiting table)
  3. To inform Internet users among the citizens and residents about the items which are banned or restricted and are not allowed to be carried to, or used by, the inmates. (Attached is a copy of the banned and restricted items)
  4. To inform Internet users among the citizens and residents about the activities of the various departments and their importance in rehabilitating and reforming the inmates at the Reformation and Rehabilitation Directorate and its affiliated centres.
  5. To inform Internet users among the citizens and residents about the rules relating to the cash which can be deposited in the name an inmate and the types of things that should not be handed over to the inmates.
  6. Provide visitors with general instructions. (Attached is a copy of the instructions) 
 
We plan to implement the idea at all reformation and rehabilitation centres and enforce rules in accordance with the nature of work and the standards of administrative functioning. We want to focus on the reformation and rehabilitation organisation and its affiliated centres and provide information to the public on the Internet about the systems, laws and instructions for the inmates and detainees so as to reduce the high number of calls received from their families and visitors making inquiries and requests.
