Reformation and Rehabilitation: the condition of an inmate is stable after two surgeries

The General Directorate of Reformation and Rehabilitation highlighted on Friday that the health of an inmate (H.A.J), 27, who serves a 16-year jail sentence is stable after he was referred to the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) and undergone two surgeries.

He was transferred to the SMC on January 19, after his tests at the Reformation and Rehabilitation Centre clinic indicated that he suffered from appendicitis. According to the medical report, his condition is stable after the two surgeries.

The General Directorate asserted commitment to provide comprehensive healthcare without exceptions to all inmates per the rule of the reformation and rehabilitation organisations law, calling upon the public to seek information from official sources and ignore rumours.
